”Challenges – your wish is our command”

A statement was given by Ingolff Christensen Sales and traffic supervisor at Give Sværgods. The challenge was to transport 12 sections of a highway bridge, each weighing 250 tons, to replace the existing bridge near Hillerød, Copenhagen. The sections where transported by side mounted transporters with an additional pulling unit. The bridge is 220 meters long, and within 42 days the Vejdirektoratet and entrepreneur Phil & Søn succeeded to tear down the old bridge and replace it with the new one. The work was done on one of the main gateways to Copenhagen. The excellent crew of Give Sværgods was  Mogens Dyhr, Allan Juel, Søren L Pedersen og Niels Erik Kjøller. The received a lot of credit for their performance.
