Terms for transport and limit of liability

All national and international tasks are conducted in accordance with the CMR Convention. The Terms of Nordisk Speditørforbund (NSAB 2000) further apply.

The regulations of the CMR Convention and NSAB 2000 limit our liability for loss, deterioration or damage of the goods to SDR 8.33 per kg. gross weight and for delays to the carrier amount. For warehouse tasks, a maximum compensation limit of SDR 500,000.00 applies for our complete warehouse in accordance with NSAB 2000 § 27 c, litra 3.

Claims become obsolete in accordance with § 41of the CMR Convention and § 30 of NSAB 2000 after one year. Complaints regarding visible damage or loss must be made immediately after delivery of the goods and for non-visible damage or loss in writing no later than seven days after delivery.

Claims regarding carrier services and agreed additional costs must be paid regardless of the delivery terms in accordance with § 10of NSAB 2000. Right of lien acc. to § 14of NSAB 2000 applies to both current and previous tasks.​

Crane lifting tasks are also regulated in accordance with the CMR Convention and NSAB 2000, also if the tasks are not conducted as part of transportation. The CMR Convention and NSAB 2000 limit our liability to SDR 8.33 per kg. gross weight and for delays to the agreed remuneration. For crane lifting, not conducted as part of transportation, the liability is further limited to DKK four million per lifting.

Offsetting of claims for carrier services or other remuneration is not permitted.
